OCLE’s M.A. in Translation & Interpretation (MATI) offers a graduate program that aims to prepare students as tomorrow’s future translators and interpreters in the field of missions. Students are expected to master written and editing skills in their selected language through strong oral communication and public speaking skills. OCLE offers translation and interpretation course in Chinese, Korean, and Spanish, which is all paired with English.
OCLE MATI students are trained to perform professionally with developed scholarly theoretical knowledge and vocational skills expected in today’s sectors. Upon graduation, students have developed skills in sight translation, simultaneous translation in their chosen language, as well as consecutive interpretation. The MATI program also prepares graduates for post-graduate studies in language education.
